The Impossible Bridge
This week we read a story called "The Impossible Bridge". In the story the children tried to make different bridges using different materials. At the end they had a challenge to make a bridge out of one sheet of A4 paper that is cut once. The bridge had to be strong enough to hold a toy car.
We all had a go at making the paper bridge. Some of us figured out there were instructions at the back and managed to make it. Others tried different ways.
After that we were given the challenge of making a bridge using straws and paper to hold up a car over a gap between chairs. We could have some future engineers in Room 11 because lots of our bridges worked.
